Description
Rhythm Revival is an energetic and charismatic swing ensemble guaranteed to get every crowd moving. With vibrant arrangements inspired by the golden age of swing and a fresh modern twist, the band brings an infectious energy that appeals to all ages and musical tastes. Originally founded with dancers in mind, their broad and versatile repertoire has made them a popular choice for weddings, parties, corporate functions, and dedicated dance events.
While Rhythm Revival often perform as a quartet or quintet for intimate settings, they truly shine as the full-throttle six-piece outfit heard on their recordings. Their musical roots lie firmly in the lively 1920s swing era, featuring classics such as The Charleston, It Don’t Mean a Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing), and Is You Is or Is You Ain’t My Baby. To engage wider audiences, they also deliver stylish swing-inspired versions of modern chart hits by artists including George Ezra, Beyoncé, Pharrell Williams, Daft Punk, and many more.
Founded in 2014 by Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama graduates Pete Komor and Jack Perry-Cockings, Rhythm Revival brings professional polish and extensive experience. Members have performed at major jazz festivals and renowned venues, entertaining distinguished guests including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Charles and Camilla, and clients such as GQ magazine.
